{"id":230,"date":"2011-11-15T01:23:39","date_gmt":"2011-11-15T08:23:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fova.org\/?p=230"},"modified":"2018-10-15T14:45:32","modified_gmt":"2018-10-15T21:45:32","slug":"drop-off-and-pick-up-procedures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.fova.org\/?p=230","title":{"rendered":"Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">ATTENTION PARENTS \u2013 AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP PROCEDURES<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We would like to remind everyone of the proper procedure for the safe drop off and pick-up of students after school.\u00a0 If you have another person (grandparent, friend, aunt, uncle, etc) pick-up your child, please make sure they are made aware of these procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Drop-Off Procedures:<br \/>\nDrop-off time: 9:30-9:50. Please do not drop off before 9:30. Students who arrive after 10:00am will be marked late, and the tardy will count against them in the attendance roster.<\/p>\n<p>Pick-up Procedures:<br \/>\nAll individuals picking up students at 1:00 should park to the east (On University Drive) or north (Parking lot C) of the school building.\u00a0 When students are released they wait for parents behind the Fine Arts building to meet their rides.<\/p>\n<p>The handicap parking area behind the Fine Arts building is not a Pick-up\/Drop-off area.\u00a0 Vehicles should not attempt to enter the handicap parking lot unless a valid decal is placed on the windshield. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>You WILL be ticketed by campus police.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nIn addition, we have seen an increase of people driving up to the building and then driving away thus creating a hazard for all of our students.<\/p>\n<p>For the safety of all we ask the above procedures be followed each and every day.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Vargas\/Conservatory<\/p>\n<p>P.S., <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>REMINDER WE ARE OFF THE NEXT 2 WEEKS!
