Here is the information for the upcoming field trips:<\/p>\n
March 24, 2012\u00a0 Donatellos, Davinici’s,Monets, Chagalls, Cassats, Rivera’s will
\nattend first field trip.<\/p>\n
March 31, 2012\u00a0 Kahlo’s, O’Keefe’s, Warhols, Basquiats, Studio I & II will
\nattend second field trip.<\/p>\n
Location: LACMA(Los Angeles Contemporary Museum of Art)
\n5905 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036<\/p>\n
Time: 11:00 AM until approximately 2-3 pm<\/p>\n
If you child is going on the bus from the Conservatory, they must have the
\npermission slip completed and with them to attend.\u00a0 No student will be allowed
\non the bus without the permission slip.
\nStudents may also directly go to the museum with parents.\u00a0 Parents must remain
\nwith them at the museum if going directly.\u00a0 There is NO DROP OFF of students at
\nthe museum.\u00a0 We will provide tickets for parents but
\nwe also encourage that students sign up for the FREE membership at the museum
\nwhich allows one parent entrance free.\u00a0 For those going directly to the museum,
\nplease meet near the ticket window.<\/p>\n
There will be a break for lunch during the field trip, so please bring a sack
\nlunch for the trip.\u00a0 There are some food courts but they can be expensive and
\ncrowded.<\/p>\n
Field trip is not mandatory, but we encourage students attend for this exciting
\ntrip.\u00a0 We might even be able to see “The Levitated Mass” which has been in the
\nmedia recently.<\/p>\n
Please note, there will be NO classes at the Conservatory for those two
\nSaturdays and April 7(Spring Break).<\/p>\n
